Travel insurance quick quote assumptions

The following assumptions have been made in the calculations for the quick travel insurance quote:

The applicants...

• Are UK residents (our UK definition includes N.Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man)
• Are under 60 years of age (policyholders must be aged between 16 and 59)
• Have never had travel insurance refused, cancelled or any special terms imposed
• Have not received any criminal convictions for fraud, dishonesty or deception in the last 5 years
• Have not received advice, medication or treatment for any medical condition in the last 12 months
• Are not aware of any reason why a planned trip will be cancelled or cut short e.g. illness of a close relative, close business associate or someone else upon whose health your trip depends
• Have had less than 3 travel insurance claims in the last 3 years
• Have not commenced the trip they wish to cover
• Are taking this insurance for the purposes of a holiday only and do not require cover for Business Travel
• Are not intending to engage in leisure activities or winter sports activities other than those listed as covered in the policy booklet (page 11)

Note: Annual Multi-trip quick quotes will be based upon trips of no more than 31 days (21 days for a winter sports holiday). For Single Trip policies the trip must not exceed 90 days.
Cancellation cover is based on a limit of £2500 per person per trip.
