ASDA Balance Cancellation Cover will pay your monthly payments for the first 60 days and if you're still not back on your feet by the 90th day, we could clear the full balance of your ASDA Credit Card.

To take out ASDA Balance Cancellation Cover payment insurance for 1p per £1 of your monthly statement balance, just remember to tick the relevant boxes when you apply for your
ASDA Credit Card.

How Balance Cancellation Cover works

If you can't make your ASDA Credit Card repayments because of:

ν ~ υ ¥ ♦ You can change your mind about taking out Balance Cancellation Cover within 30 days of taking out the cover and you will incur no charges or cancellation fees. To be eligible for cover you need to be aged 18 to 64 and working at least 16 hours per week. We will not pay if you had any knowledge of impending unemployment at the start date of the policy. We could pay the minimum payment of 4% of your monthly statement balance for the first 60 days then clear the balance at 90 days if you have not returned to work. In the event of your death the balance will be cleared in full. Subject to your claim being approved. Lower of £15,000 or Credit Limit. 'We' refers to the Insurer – Financial Insurance Company Limited and Financial Assurance Company Limited who are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority. If you are not satisfied with the service of GE Services or GE Bank, please write to Complaints Department, GE Consumer Credit Services Ltd, Capital House 2, Leeds, LS27 0JG or call us on 0871 522 5888. Calls may be recorded and monitored for security and quality purposes. Calls cost 10p per minute plus network extras. If your complaint cannot be settled in this way, you may be entitled to refer the matter to the Financial Ombudsman Service, South Quay Plaza, 183 Marsh Wall, London E14 9SR. Phone: 0845 080 1800. If you complain it will not affect your legal rights.
